Alice Audet: Makeup & Hair Artist
Alice is the passionate creator of AlyCat Makeup and Hair Artistry. She is an incredibly talented Makeup Artist and licensed Hair Stylist. Alice has been working in the beauty industry since 1999 at various esteemed salons in London, Ontario. After graduating from hair school, Alice trained under internationally recognized and published stylist Emanuel Da Costa at Salon Emanuel. Emanuel concentrated his training with Alice to include the importance of a customized look, focusing on the individual client’s needs. Because of this training, Alice prides herself in offering such consultation to her clients. She is a true believer in customizing and tailoring makeup and hair to best feature her client’s facial features, face shape, lifestyle and personality.
With the switch to digital and high definition mediums, such as HD photography, Airbrush Makeup was naturally the next skill Alice needed to master. Alice refined her airbrush skills seeking out and learning from one of London’s top Makeup Artist’s, Janet Entwistle, who taught her how to create flawless faces with the airbrush for HD media.
Alice’s artistic vision and impeccable attention to detail enables her to give her clients an amazing experience. She also believes in educating herself with the latest techniques with makeup and hair trends as they appear on the fashion scene. Whether you are looking for a contemporary or classic look with an edgy feel, Alice will be sure to create a look based on all of your needs.
Mandy Tomen: Hair Artist
Mandy is an enthusiastic Hairstylist, specializing in wedding hair. Mandy is the perfect addition to the AlyCat M&H team. Mandy is truly a hidden treasure that we just happened to be lucky enough to find. Like Alice, Mandy has also trained under internationally recognized and published stylist Emanuel Da Costa at Salon Emanuel. Mandy and Alice have been trained in the same disciplines as it makes these Cats a strong team. Mandy is literally an explosion of talent. She has a strong artistic background. It is not uncommon to find Mandy painting, sketching, creating beautiful photography or writing music –being creative is second nature to this Cat and it shows in all of her work. Mandy’s talent for event hair truly shines with each client.
Mandy has also volunteered at various plays in London ranging from 50′s style to the completely creative Dr.Seuss styles.
AlyCat M&H is proud to have Mandy as one the Cats. She is an event hair artist who portrays complete confidence that will put any bride at ease. Mandy has the ability to make every client feel fantastic and breath taking at their Catwalk Event.
